The Attensira Index reads, every week, which brands the AI assistants name when a buyer asks about a software category, and publishes a per-category leaderboard anyone can check. It needs no account.

What it reads

About 30 software categories, each with eight buying questions phrased the way a buyer asks them (“What is the best CRM for a B2B sales team?”). No question names a brand: the Index measures who the assistant brings up unprompted. Every week, each category is read on a rotating half of its questions (four of eight) on the four engines a Starter workspace tracks: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overview. Each engine answers each question once. Every question is read once every two weeks, so every figure is computed over a two-week rolling window and carries its n. A full window is 32 answers per category. The surface is model APIs with web search, standing in for the consumer apps. Every published figure says so. A read that fails (an engine times out or errors) is dropped. It is not counted as “not mentioned”; it is left out of n. A window with reads missing is published with the n it has and a note saying how many of the planned reads landed.

What it publishes

Each category’s leaderboard lists the brands the Index tracks in that category. For each brand: The board carries its window (weeks, n, planned, complete, note) and its surface. A tracked brand no answer named is listed with 0: being named in 0 of 32 answers is a finding. The Index publishes counts only, never sentences from an answer.

Suppression

A figure computed over too few answers is withheld, not approximated. safe_to_publish is false and suppressed_reason is "too few answers":

Movers

Each week the Index compares a category’s current window with the previous week’s. A brand whose share of answers moved by 10 percentage points or more is a mover, published with both shares, both n and both windows. A move is published only when both windows are publishable. The Index-wide movers list is the 10 largest moves across all categories.

On attensira.com

The same leaderboards are pages anyone can read and link to:
  • attensira.com/index lists every category with its top three brands and the week’s movers.
  • attensira.com/index/{category} (for example attensira.com/index/crm-software) shows one category’s full leaderboard, its per-engine split, its movers and the method, and links the category’s JSON.
The method behind every board (surface, sampling, rotation, n, suppression and opt-out) is also set out on attensira.com/methodology. The pages read the public API below and refresh at most once an hour, so a page can be up to an hour behind the API. A withheld figure shows as a dash; a withheld board shows its reason and no rows. On the AI visibility tools board, Attensira is one of the brands and the page says so.

See where you stand

Every category page lists the category’s eight questions under See where you stand, with a field for your website. Pressing it goes straight to sign-up: there is no claim or verify step. The new workspace starts with your domain and those eight questions, word for word, as its starting questions, so you see on your own workspace where your brand is named for them and where a competitor is named instead. Leave the field empty and sign-up asks for your website, keeping the questions for it. If you change the domain during set-up, the questions are not carried to the new one.

Public API

Keyless, public REST on https://marketing.attensira.com. Any agent or script can call it. Responses can be up to 10 minutes old.

Opting a brand out

A brand that does not want to be in the Index can leave it, with no account and no person at Attensira involved:
  1. Send the brand’s domain and an email address at that domain (or a subdomain of it):
  2. A confirmation link arrives at that address. It works for 7 days.
  3. Open it and press the button. Opening the link alone changes nothing, so a mail scanner that follows links cannot opt a brand out.
Once confirmed, the brand is removed from every leaderboard and movers list within 10 minutes and stays out of every later one. Other brands keep their positions: the Index does not move a brand up a place an answer did not give it. Only brands the Index tracks can opt out. Requests are limited to 5 per IP address per hour and 3 per brand per day. The confirmation email is the only email the request sends, and it adds the address to no list. Opt-out is not available over MCP or with an API key: the step that counts is a person at the brand’s domain confirming from their own mailbox.
