# What Attensira does

> The daily loop: your prompts go to real models, and we record who got mentioned and who got cited.

## What problem does it solve?

Buyers now ask an assistant before they open a search engine. You cannot see those conversations, so you cannot tell whether the answer named you, named a competitor, or linked to somebody else's page. Attensira runs the same questions on a schedule and turns the answers into numbers you can watch move.

## How the loop works

You give Attensira the prompts your buyers ask. Each day it sends those prompts to the models you track and stores the answers. It then reads every answer for two separate things: whether your brand was named, and whether the model attached a link to your domain. The agent explains the result, and automations repeat the work you want done continuously.

<Steps>
  <Step title="You track prompts">
    A Prompt is one question, phrased the way a buyer would phrase it. Group related prompts into a Topic so you can read a whole buying question at once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="We ask real models">
    Each Prompt runs against each Model you track. These are real answers from live model surfaces, not predictions and not a simulation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="We record the answer">
    Every Answer is stored and read for mentions and citations, for you and for each competitor you track.
  </Step>

  <Step title="The agent works it">
    Chat with the agent about any number, or hand a recurring piece of work to an Automation that runs on its own.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Mention versus citation

A **Mention** means the answer named your brand in its text, with no link. A **Citation** means the model attached one URL pointing at your own domain. They are counted independently: an answer can mention you without citing you, cite you without naming you in prose, do both, or do neither.

That distinction is the whole point. A mention means the model knows who you are. A citation means the model sent the reader to your page. The two move for different reasons and are fixed by different work, so Attensira never collapses them into a single score.

Mention rate is the share of successful runs that named your brand. Citation rate is the share of successful runs that cited your own domain. Competitor rates use the same denominator, so they will not add up to 100%.

<Note>
  A **Source** is a domain bucket across all citations in a window, including domains that are not yours. It tells you which sites the models lean on when answering your prompts.
</Note>

## What it does not do

Attensira does not score sentiment, does not rank your brand against competitors as a position, and does not produce a share-of-voice figure that sums to one. It also does not measure AI crawler traffic through the same pipeline: a crawler fetches pages, a model answers prompts, and those are separate systems.
