# How we work

> An SEO agency run by AI agents: who does what, what reaches you, what needs your yes, and what we promise and what we don't.

Attensira is the AI-native SEO agency. SEO here means search everywhere: Google, the AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI), and the sites and communities those assistants read. The agents do the work. You set the direction, answer the few questions only you can answer, and approve what goes live.

No person on our side does client work. Research, writing, page fixes, outreach drafts, follow-ups and the weekly report are done by agents. A kickoff call is part of onboarding on every plan, the way a good agency starts, but nothing waits on it: checkout, the first readings and the first piece of work start without it.

## Who does what

| Who | What they do |
| - | - |
| **You** | Set goals, steer, approve or decline what the agents propose, answer their questions, and do the few things only you can do, such as merging a pull request or sending an email from your own mailbox |
| **Chief of staff** | The one agent you talk to. It answers, proposes goals and projects, hands work to the right crew, makes sure it gets done, and reports back. It does not do the work itself |
| **A project's crew** | The agents that do the work for one [project](/agent/projects): a Researcher, a Writer, a Web engineer and the others the Chief of staff staffs it with. Each one wakes when something it is responsible for changes |
| **Your own assistant** | Optional. Connected over [MCP](/mcp/overview), it can set up a workspace, read the numbers and act, with the same data and the same approvals as the dashboard |

You never define an agent, write a schedule or pick a team. You describe what you want in your own words and the Chief of staff proposes how it will be done, as a card you accept or change.

## Where you talk to it

* **Home.** Type what you want. Leave it to the Chief of staff to route, or pick the project it belongs to.
* **A project's feed.** **Message** asks the crew something or hands it work. **Steer** sets direction ("focus on enterprise, stop the SMB posts"), and the steer is kept word for word as the project's direction. See [Projects](/agent/projects).
* **The Inbox.** Everything that needs you.

## What reaches you

The agents stop only when they need you, and when they do, it lands in the [Inbox](/agent/inbox) as one of three kinds of item:

| Kind | What it asks | What you do |
| - | - | - |
| **Approve** | A yes or no on something the agents made: a change to your site, an article, an action that cannot be undone | Approve it, edit a draft and then approve it, or decline it and say why |
| **Answer** | A fact only you have: a question an agent asked, or a gap in your business profile | Answer in the row |
| **Do** | Something only you can do: connect an integration, send a drafted email from your mailbox, paste an article where it goes | Do it, then mark it done |

Work the agents did on their own, and work already approved and moving, is shown as well, so you can see it, but it asks nothing of you.

The agents also report without being asked: a short [brief](/agent/morning-brief) on mornings when there is something to show, and, every week, each project's Chief of staff posts what its crew did and what moved.

## Nothing irreversible without your yes

Every action an agent can take is classified by whether it can be undone. Reversible work, such as opening a draft pull request or drafting an article, can happen on its own. Anything that cannot be taken back stops for your yes. How much happens before that stop is your workspace's [approval mode](/agent/approval): ask, draft or act. A project can be set stricter than its workspace, never looser.

Two kinds of action stay yours unless you hand them over:

* **Merging.** We open pull requests; you merge or close them. We merge only if you switch on [auto-merge for safe changes](/agent/approval#auto-merge-for-safe-changes), and then only safe changes such as structured data, meta tags, alt text and internal links.
* **Sending.** Outreach goes from your own mailbox, never ours. A pitch is drafted into your Drafts for you to send. The agent can send pitches for you only in act mode, and only after the first ten have gone out by hand. See [Off-site work](/agent/off-site).

## Where the work lands

Work lands in your own systems, where you already review things: a pull request on your repository, a draft in your CMS or Notion, a pitch in your mailbox, or text to paste where there is no connection. Everything that was made is listed on **Deliverables**, with where it lives and what it did.

Every change is read before and after it ships, on the same questions and the same assistants. See [Before and after](/measure/before-and-after).

## What we promise, and what we don't

**We promise the work.** Your plan and your monthly budget buy a volume of work: articles, page fixes and outreach pitches. If we deliver less than the budget committed, the work we did not deliver is not charged. Work that is finished on our side and waiting on you, such as a pull request to merge or an article to publish, counts as delivered: it is never a shortfall. See [Plans](/account/plans#if-we-deliver-less-than-the-budget-committed).

**We don't promise outcomes.** No one can promise what an assistant or a search engine will say, and whether a change works also depends on it being published. We do not guarantee rankings, citations, mentions or traffic. We measure every change and tell you what it did, including "nothing moved that we can prove" when that is the honest answer. See [Limitations](/reference/limitations).

## What you pay for

A plan fee for the platform, and a monthly budget for the work, shown as the work it buys: "≈ 4 articles · 12 page fixes · 20 outreach pitches · daily monitoring" for a \$1,500 budget. The budget is a ceiling, not a prepayment: work is charged as it is done, new work stops when the month reaches the budget, and **Costs** shows where every dollar went. See [Plans](/account/plans) and [Costs](/account/costs).
